DRIVER SPOTLIGHT

Susan Alpha

Morgan City, Louisana. Terminal 2

Driving a 2020 Ford Transit 350 is pure joy for Susan, a former OTR CDL truck driver of 18 years. Now she spends alternate weeks running oilfield personnel throughout the south 24/7. She is not on elogs, so the only limit to her drive-time is her schedule as a retiree. Her terminal manager tells her the runs to take, and Susan takes pride in getting to know the passengers, who range from talkative to really quiet and sleepy. She says, “I love the people I work with at American Eagle and meeting all of the passengers. I highly recommend this line of work to retirees who want to make some extra money.

William Lang

Morgan City, Louisiana. Terminal 2

William takes pride in the nice Dodge Ram 1500 Limited Crew Cab that he uses to transport oilfield personnel in luxury. His 4 year hotshot career with American Eagle has been a blessing for the man who used to work a crazy schedule offshore. Now, William has a predictable home life and a business working for himself that he loves. He says,”You gotta be positive and upbeat as a passenger hauler. If you like making people happy, oilfield hotshot and personnel transport is the right business for you!”
